Website Designs Over 17 Years
Around the same time that tech analysts at Morgan Stanley said the Internet—with a capital I—could be “one of the hottest new markets to develop in years,” Fisher launched its first website. Then called a web site—two words—Fisher's home page was developed collaboratively by students, faculty, and the College Communications Office in 1996. Our admissions brochures at the time invited guests to “Come see us on the World Wide Web.”
Today, our site is constantly cared for by the Office of Marketing and Communications with the vital support of the Office of Information Technology and a courageous team of content contributors.
As Fisher celebrates 75 years, our website is about 18 years young and getting ready for college University. Take a scroll down memory lane from www.sjfc.edu to sjf.edu and beyond! As always, you can send us E-mail or just email webmaster@sjf.edu.
