Artificial Intelligence (AI) & Generative AI Support

We've seen rapid changes and advancements in artificial intelligence and generative AI. What should instructors and students consider when using AI?

AI in Higher Education

Generative AI tools present significant opportunities and concerns for instructors, students, and employees of the University. The DePeters Family Center hosted conversations across campus to explore these emerging trends. These conversations led to a working group of more than sixty Fisher faculty and staff during the summer of 2023. The group explored AI in higher education while creating resources and best practices for the Fisher community. The AI Toolkit grew out of the team's work.

AI Working Group

Fisher's AI Working Group meets regularly to keep up with rapid changes in AI technology. The team works with input from the AI Advisory Board to evaluate tools, organize professional development, and draft recommendations based on the larger advisory board discussions. The AI Working Group will also receive requests or concerns related to AI topics from campus constituents.
