First-Generation Week Keynote Address

Stephanie Woodward, founder of the Disability EmpowHer Network and a first-generation graduate of St. John Fisher University, will share her inspiring story.

Woodward will deliver the keynote lecture, Breaking Barriers: A First-Generation Journey to Advocacy and Leadership. She is the founder of the Disability EmpowHer Network and a first-generation graduate of St. John Fisher University. Woodward will share her inspiring story of overcoming barriers in higher education and becoming a disability rights attorney and advocate. Her speech will focus on resilience, self-advocacy, and the importance of empowering young people to reach their full potential, both in education and beyond.
