Program Eligibility

Applicants must show evidence of their potential to meet the demands of a rigorous doctoral program. Admission is limited to qualified candidates who have completed a master's degree from a regionally accredited higher education institution.

Application Materials Needed

• Completed online application.
• Official transcript(s) documenting completion of a master’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education. (For the quickest transcript processing, please contact each institution attended and request an official transcript with electronic delivery to St. John Fisher University.)
• Two recommendations. These should be from colleagues, professors, or supervisors. (You will be prompted to assign your recommenders within the online application.)
• Current résumé.
• A single-page typed vision statement that includes your:
  • Vision of leadership.
  • Reasons for applying to the program.

Note: You will be prompted to upload your documents during the submission of your application.

Interview Process

Applicants who meet the admission requirements will be required to participate in a formal interview and provide an on-demand writing sample on the day of the interview.
