02/09/2026 - The Cardinal Health Fair, led by students from the Wegmans School of Pharmacy, aims to empower the campus community with practical and accessible health knowledge through hands‑on learning. It will take place on Friday, Feb. 13, from 12 noon to 1:30 p.m. in the Donald E. Bain Campus Center and is open to all students, faculty, and staff.

02/08/2026 - The fieldhouse was adorned with mini surfboards for the Surf’s Up theme, a balloon arch, a stage displaying vintage Teddi event t-shirts, notes to loved ones who are fighting or have lost their battle to cancer on the walls, and hundreds of dedicated pairs of feet belonging to Fisher students who did it all for love.

Martínez-Hernández Elected to the SACNAS National Board of Directors Kermin Martínez-Hernández

02/06/2026 - Dr. Kermin Martínez-Hernández, associate professor of chemistry, has been elected to the Society for Advancement of Chicanos/Hispanics and Native Americans in Science (SACNAS) National Board of Directors. He will serve a three-year term and contribute to the leadership of one of the nation’s largest multicultural STEM organizations.

02/06/2026 - The St. John Fisher University 72nd Commencement is scheduled for Friday, May 8 and Saturday, May 9 with five ceremonies celebrating bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degree recipients. Once again this year, the University is seeking student speakers through a nomination process open to all members of the campus community. Students may also self-nominate.

02/02/2026 - In summer 2025, Dr. Kathryn Connor, associate professor of pharmacy practice and administration in the Wegmans School of Pharmacy, spent her sabbatical in a land far, far away amid kangaroos and koalas; rich culture; vibrant cities with museums, markets, gardens, and winter festivals; beautiful coastlines; and the Southern Cross constellation, seen only from the southern hemisphere.

01/30/2026 - It was a full crowd at the Very Beary Brunch on Friday, Jan. 30 with the Teddi Dance for Love Committee, Camp Good Days staff and board members, Fisher faculty and staff, and members of the community showing up to support the annual event that serves as the official countdown kick-off for the Teddi Dance for Love, taking place Friday, Feb. 6 through Saturday, Feb. 7.
