The world is an increasingly interconnected place. Those who learn to work and live within this relational framework often succeed where others falter. Prepare to become an informed and engaged citizen of the world by majoring in international studies at Fisher.

The international studies program is designed to prepare you to enter the global arena confident in your ability to address contemporary world issues from an interdisciplinary perspective. Through this program, you will be introduced to various disciplinary approaches by taking courses that explore world politics, cultures, religions, economics, and contemporary affairs.

As an international studies major, you will be required to spend at least one semester during your junior year studying abroad. Choose from scores of academic programs offered by international universities and colleges in Europe, Latin America, Australia, Asia, and Africa.
