10/04/2019 - The Family Business Initiative at St. John Fisher College will offer family business owners and next generation family employees keen insights into the ownership and leadership of Gorbel, Inc. during the workshop, “The Gorbel Story: How A Family Business Defies Gravity.”
10/03/2019 - Current St. John Fisher College students, along with returning alumni, utilized their knowledge and skills from the classroom to produce a compelling presentation at the Rochester Institute of Technology’s Sports Analytics Conference (RIT SAC) on September 14. Presenters Robert Weber ’20 and Eddy Tabone ’18 showed off their work which focused on the Knighthawks, Rochester’s professional lacrosse team.
10/02/2019 - On Friday, Sept. 20, the St. John Fisher College Accounting Club hosted its annual networking event at Oak Hill Country Club. The experience allows accounting majors to meet and get to know accounting alumni, as well as recruiters from national and regional accounting firms and area corporations.

09/30/2019 - The St. John Fisher College Wegmans School of Pharmacy and 2U, Inc. (Nasdaq: TWOU) today announced a partnership to deliver a new clinically-oriented hybrid Pharm.D. pathway for aspiring pharmacy professionals in New York State and across the country. The pathway, called Fisher Pharm.D. Online, will be the first online or hybrid Pharm.D. pathway offered by an institution in the state, and one of fewer than 10 online graduate pharmacy programs in the country.
09/29/2019 - On Saturday, October 5, the St. John Fisher College Cardinals will take on The College at Brockport Golden Eagles during Courage Bowl XV, an annual football game to benefit the children and families of Camp Good Days and Special Times. This year’s Courage Bowl returns home to Fisher’s Growney Stadium, with kick-off slated for 6 p.m.
09/25/2019 - This fall, three St. John Fisher College alumni will be honored during the Rochester Business Journal’s Forty Under 40 awards program.
09/24/2019 - The End-of-Life Nursing Education Consortium (ELNEC), a partnership between the American Association of Colleges of Nurses and the City of Hope, in Duarte, California, included St. John Fisher College’s Wegmans School of Nursing on its ELNEC-Undergraduate Champions List.
09/23/2019 - In October, St. John Fisher College and Nazareth College will co-host the National Association of African American Studies and Affiliates regional conference. Scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 3 through Saturday, Oct. 5, the three-day conference will explore a wide array of diversity-related topics under the theme, “Creating Racial Justice in the 21st Century.”
