Senior Accounting Major Selected for Business Ethics Scholarship
Eric Green, a senior accounting major and Honors student at St. John Fisher College, was named the 2019 recipient of the Martin Palumbos Rochester Area Business Ethics Foundation (RABEF) Scholarship. This scholarship is given annually to a St. John Fisher College business student who has demonstrated exceptional integrity and ethics as it pertains to business education.
Green credits his success to the values that Fisher has instilled in him. “I firmly believe that I have been taught goodness, discipline, and knowledge,” he said, adding that he has learned valuable skills in leadership, responsibility, and accountability. Most importantly, his time here has taught him that he wants to change the world.
In addition to his hard work in the classroom, Green is an RA on campus, a member of Drastic Measures, and a lifetime member of Beta Gamma Sigma International Honor Society.
After he graduates in December, Green plans to intern at Ernst and Young and return to school for his master’s degree, eventually beginning his career as an auditor.
Green was formally recognized at the GEVA Theater on Monday, Oct. 7, at RABEF’s Annual ETHIE Awards Ceremony and Reception.
