10/19/2020 - St. John Fisher College alumnus and Board of Trustees member Victor E. Salerno ’66 was selected to become a Fellow of the Academy of Electrical Contracting, through the National Electrical Contractors Association. He was formally installed into the Academy on Tuesday, Oct. 6, during NECA 2020 LIVE, the association’s virtual convention and trade show.
10/19/2020 - Joseph Current and Caden Jensen spent their summers conducting research to confirm the obesogenic effects of BPS, a substitute for BPA in plastic and food containers, and determining if the antiobesogenic properties of natural compounds can be used to rescue zebrafish from these effects.
10/19/2020 - This week, College New’s #ClubCorner features Colleges against Cancer. Also known as CAC, this club provides students with the opportunity to get involved with fun events that celebrate people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and take action to finish the fight once and for all.
10/19/2020 - The Golisano Institute for Developmental Disability Nursing at St. John Fisher College is part of a new $1.75 million grant that brings together five colleges and universities to address health disparities among individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (ID/DD) by strengthening the knowledge base of the health care workforce.

10/17/2020 - Students, faculty, and staff in the School of Business are hosting a food drive to benefit Bethany House. Organized by Beta Gamma Sigma (BGS) and the Dean’s Student Advisory Council (DSAC), the drive will run from now until Friday, Nov. 13.
