Classroom Named in Honor of Alumnus
On Friday, Oct. 28, St. John Fisher University dedicated a classroom named for alumnus, trustee, and longtime donor, Marty Keating ’75.
In the four decades since his graduation, Keating has been a dedicated benefactor, supporting countless initiatives. His most recent gift supported classroom upgrades at the Univeristy. In recognition of his generosity, Fisher dedicated Basil 212 as the Marty Keating ’75 & Deo Latchman Classroom, named in honor of Keating and his spouse, Jake Latchman.
The plaque at the entrance to the room reads, "Innovation and integration make the world go round."
Keating has been a member of the St. John Fisher University Board of Trustees since 1995. Retired from Cantor Fitzgerald as managing director of commercial real estate, he had a long career in real estate banking and financing.
