Fisher Dining Services Earns Recognition from Parent Company

For the sixth year in a row, Fisher earned the No. 1 spot in Niche.com’s rankings of Best College Food in New York. So, it should come as no surprise that Fisher Dining Services also received the Account of the Year and 2022 Be-A-Star Awards within their parent organization, Compass Group and Chartwells Higher Education.

The Compass Group is a family of organizations including Chartwells Higher Education that are the leading food service and support services company, striving to re-invent the on-campus dining experience. Compass serves award-winning restaurants, cafés, hospitals, schools, and more. The Be-A-Star Award is Compass Group’s premier business excellence recognition program.

More than 550 Chartwells schools compete for these titles every year and are evaluated on criteria including community service, financial performance, customer and client satisfaction, wellness, and diversity. Be-A-Star is one of the highest honors a team can receive. Awards are presented to team members that go above and beyond expectations and create positive impacts on their peers, their guests, and their communities. According to its website, the Account of the Year and individual Be-A-Star winners truly embody the culture of Chartwells Higher Education.
