10/19/2023 - St. John Fisher University honored 75 employees for milestone years of service during the annual Service Awards Ceremony, held on Thursday, Oct. 19.

10/18/2023 - Each year, Dr. Monica Hodis, associate professor of marketing in the School of Business, hosts a Perfect Pitch Competition in her Personal Selling course, challenging students to create a 90-second pitch for an inside sales representative position with ADP. This fall, there were three winners, Kyle Farewell, Tyler Hopson, and Ryan Strassner, who snagged first, second, and third place respectively.

10/17/2023 - St. John Fisher University offers Career Accelerator grants to provide support to undergraduate students who are actively pursuing experiential opportunities in alignment with their career aspirations.

10/16/2023 - St. John Fisher University is joining colleges and universities across the nation in celebrating National Transfer Student Week, honoring the resilience and achievements of students who have taken the significant step of transferring to a new academic home.

10/16/2023 - Lydia X. Z. Brown, a queer, disabled, and East Asian advocate, organizer, attorney, strategist, and writer, will deliver a talk on the intersections of identities in higher education. The talk, which is free and open to the campus community, begins at 5 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 6, in Basil 135 at St. John Fisher University.

10/16/2023 - The second annual Spirit of Identity Week, scheduled for Monday, Jan. 15 through Saturday, Jan. 20, will feature events and activities hosted by members of the campus community.

10/16/2023 - A memorial honoring hundreds of individuals buried in unmarked graves in Mt. Hope Cemetery will soon be unveiled.

10/11/2023 - Dr. Karl Williams, professor in the Wegmans School of Pharmacy at St. John Fisher University, was named the 2023 Rochester Champion of Pharmacy by the Pharmacy Society of Rochester and Rochester Society of Health System Pharmacists.

10/11/2023 - This month, a series of events and activities at the Wegmans School of Pharmacy will celebrate the pharmacy profession.

10/09/2023 - The First Friday Lecture Series returns this fall with an engaging lecture on the evolution of a Fisher education since the early 2000s. The panel discussion will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 3, in the James ’71 and Kathleen Leo Community Room in the Joseph S. Skalny Welcome Center.
