Energize your LinkedIn Profile at “Lattes & LinkedIn”

Supercharge your professional network and enhance your career prospects during “Lattes & LinkedIn,” hosted by Career Services at the Center for Career and Academic Planning.

The event will be held from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 9, in the Donald E. Bain Campus Center and is a unique opportunity for students to revamp their LinkedIn profile, gain insights, and kickstart their journey on the powerful professional platform. The first 25 students to arrive will receive a Starbucks gift card. 

At the event, students can receive expert advice on how to create an attention-grabbing LinkedIn profile that stands out to potential employers and connections. They will also have an opportunity to ask questions about using LinkedIn effectively, from optimizing a profile to networking strategies and job searching tips. Finally, students new to the platform can learn the basics on how to get started.

According to the Career Services staff, this event is about building a stronger, more impressive online presence that can open doors to exciting opportunities. They say that as a professional network, LinkedIn can help students connect with industry professionals, showcase their achievements, and stay informed on industry trends, job postings, and insights from experts.
