First Friday Lecture Explores Evolution of Fisher Education
The First Friday Lecture Series returns this fall with an engaging lecture on the evolution of a Fisher education since the early 2000s. The panel discussion will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 3, in the James ’71 and Kathleen Leo Community Room in the Joseph S. Skalny Welcome Center.
Dr. Kevin Railey, provost, will moderate the discussion, which includes Dr. Ann Marie Fallon, dean of the School of Arts and Sciences; Dr. Daniel Connolly, dean of the School of Business; Dr. Joellen Maples, dean of the Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. School of Education; Dr. Tricia Gatlin, dean of the Wegmans School of Nursing; and Dr. Angela Nagel, associate dean for academic affairs at the Wegmans School of Pharmacy.
Register online for the lecture, which will be offered both in-person and remotely via Zoom. Light breakfast refreshments will be served at 10 a.m. ahead of the lecture. Attendees are also welcome to attend noon Mass at the Hermance Family Chapel of St. Basil the Great.
Save the Date: The December First Friday Lecture will feature a State of the University, delivered by President Gerard J. Rooney at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 1.
