11/11/2024 - In what was considered one of the most pivotal presidential races in American history, this election season was marked by many ‘firsts,’ including America’s first woman of color presidential nominee. In addition, members of Gen Z, including many at Fisher, participated in a presidential election for the first time, coming of voting age just this year.
11/11/2024 - During the first week of November, St. John Fisher University joined colleges and universities across the United States in celebrating first-generation students and their accomplishments. In recognition of First-Generation Week, Fisher welcomed Stephanie Woodward ’10, Fisher alumna and Disability EmpowHer Network founder and executive director, to campus to deliver a keynote talk.
11/09/2024 - The No. 1-seeded St. John Fisher University men’s soccer team cinched the Empire 8 Championship trophy with a 2-0 victory over No. 7-seeded Elmira College on Saturday night at Growney Stadium.
11/07/2024 - Intelligent.com, a source for higher education rankings and research, has included multiple programs at St. John Fisher University in its 2025 rankings. The University has been awarded top honors across several disciplines, including business, nursing, and sport management.
11/06/2024 - Certified acupuncturist Christine (Welzmueller) Cronin ’95 has served as the executive director of the non-profit Acupuncturists Without Borders (AWB) for the past two years.
11/05/2024 - In a hands-on lesson in sustainability, more than a dozen Fisher students rolled up their sleeves on a Saturday morning in October at the Hundred Acre Nature Park with a mission: to help revive the nearly extinct Great American Chestnut tree.
