Niche.com Ranks Fisher Dining, Dorms No. 1 in New York

For the seventh consecutive year, St. John Fisher University’s Fisher Dining Services has maintained the No. 1 spot as the Best College Food in New York, according to Niche.com’s 2025 rankings. Fisher’s residence halls also earned the No. 1 ranking for Best College Dorms in New York.

Niche.com rankings recognize colleges and universities who offer outstanding campus resources across its footprint, including classrooms, labs, housing, food, and recreation.

Fisher Dining serves up a variety of themed meals at Ward-Haffey Dining Hall as well as a selection of options from Latin American fare at Sono Grill to seasonal Starbucks favorites at Cyber Café. For students living on campus, Fisher’s nine residence halls each have unique qualities, but all share common features, including laundry facilities, comfortable television and study lounges with wireless access, and kitchen areas. Proof of Fisher’s quality residential life program, this year, nearly 90 percent of the Class of 2028 is residing on campus.
