Six Senior Week Events Your Student Shouldn’t Miss
Once classes wrap for the spring semester, seniors at St. John Fisher College have a whole week to reminisce with friends and reflect on their time at college.
The Office of Campus Life, along with a host of departments and offices, has a whole list of activities and events for seniors that culminate in the Commencement Ceremony on Saturday, May 11.
Of the list, here are six events your senior shouldn’t miss:
1. Fisher for Life Brunch
11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, May 4, Cleary Family Auditorium
The Alumni Association formally welcomes seniors into the ranks of Fisher alumni with a celebratory champagne toast and brunch.
2. Kickball and Bonfire
7 to 8:30 p.m., Sunday, May 5, Growney Stadium
3. Class of 2019 Class Photo
5:30 p.m., Monday, May 6, Growney Stadium
Fisher resident photographer John Smillie will take a portrait of the entire senior class, just as he did four years ago.
4. Food Truck Night
6 to 7 p.m., Monday, May 6, Founders Lawn Tent
Seniors will enjoy a taste of Rochester one last time as Fisher students.
5. Senior Day of Service
9 to 11 a.m., Thursday, May 9, Mt. Hope Cemetery
Seniors have the opportunity to engage in one final service project at Fisher as they help spruce up the historic Mt. Hope Cemetery.
6. School Ceremonies
Various Dates/Times
Each of the five Schools will host award celebrations recognizing the accomplishments of the Class of 2019.
