01/22/2020 - Two St. John Fisher College students—Christopher Coriddi ’21 and Giovanni Magliocchetti ’20 (Pharm.D.)—were named recipients of the Italian Women’s Civic Club (IWCC) Dante Scholarship Award.
01/21/2020 - Dr. Lauren Vicker, professor of media and communication, was invited to be a presenter on a webinar sponsored by the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy. The topic was “Co-Curriculum Assessment Modalities across Accredited Pharmacy Programs,” and mainly detailed the results of a large-scale survey of pharmacy programs.
01/20/2020 - This week’s Countdown to Commencement features Berina Ajanovic, a nursing major who was nominated by Dr. Rick DeJesus-Rueff, emeritus vice president for student affairs and adjunct faculty member.
01/20/2020 - The committee of St. John Fisher College students planning the 2020 Teddi Dance for Love will honor a Fisher parent at the annual 24-hour dance-a-thon to benefit Camp Good Days and Special Times.
01/17/2020 - Dr. Kathryn Connor, associate professor in the Wegmans School of Pharmacy, has been elected to serve as president-elect of the New York State Chapter of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy. Her term began on January 1, 2020 and it will be for three years.
01/16/2020 - Beginning this month, St. John Fisher College’s Patricia O’Keefe Ross Gallery will exhibit a major collection of art from Ireland’s Great Hunger Museum at Quinnipiac University.
01/13/2020 - The Wegmans School of Pharmacy honored 62 first-year students during its annual White Coat Ceremony, held on Sunday, Jan. 12.

01/12/2020 - The Wegmans School of Pharmacy at St. John Fisher College received a $100,000 gift to fund student travel experiences, including to professional conferences and medical missions, thanks to the generosity of Ludmilla (Lucy) P. Malmberg, nationally renowned pharmacist, educational philanthropist, and entrepreneur.
01/10/2020 - Effective January 1, 2020, St. John Fisher College became a smoke, tobacco, and vape-free campus. The policy prohibits smoking, including e-cigarettes and vaping devices, in all College buildings and campus grounds, including College-owned vehicles.
