04/13/2020 - St. John Fisher College joined the efforts of many colleges and universities in New York State to advocate for funding to support relief efforts related to COVID-19.
04/10/2020 - For the last month, members of the Wegmans School of Pharmacy have served with the Monroe County Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) helping local health officials respond to COVID-19 cases in the area.
04/09/2020 - This summer, a group of middle and high school teachers will learn how to incorporate the study of Lake Ontario, and the streams and rivers that flow into it, into their curriculum. The new program—designed by a St. John Fisher College biology professor in collaboration with Genesee RiverWatch and Delta Environmental, Inc.—will connect teachers with tools and opportunities from local, state, and national resources.

04/06/2020 - For the past seven years, Dr. Vivek Dave has taught his students in the Wegmans School of Pharmacy how to create a hand sanitizer gel.
04/06/2020 - For just over a decade, St. John Fisher College’s Investment Club has managed a portfolio of investments. In the last four years alone, the Club had one of the longest market peaks in recent history, only to turn downward at a rapid rate, due to the uncertainty brought on by COVID-19.
04/05/2020 - St. John Fisher College professor Dr. Arlette Miller Smith, associate professor of English and director of the African American Studies program, is among the Rochester Business Journal’s honorees for the 2020 Women of Excellence awards.
04/02/2020 - Each year, students in Professor Ron Sicker’s Promotions Management courses create a fully integrated promotional campaign for clients, developing creative materials and an implementation strategy. Promotions Management is part of the suite of community-engaged learning courses, which work with partners in the Rochester community to strengthen students’ academic learning and professional preparation while providing mutual benefit to a local organization.
04/01/2020 - You could say that Donavan Ruther ’20 has always envisioned himself at St. John Fisher College. Both his aunt and his brother are Fisher graduates; so when he finished his associate’s degree at Monroe Community College, it was easy to see himself on campus.
