Vicker Joins Webinar to Talk Assessment of Pharmacy Programs

Dr. Lauren Vicker, professor of media and communication, was invited to be a presenter on a webinar sponsored by the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy. The topic was “Co-Curriculum Assessment Modalities across Accredited Pharmacy Programs,” and mainly detailed the results of a large-scale survey of pharmacy programs.

Vicker was added to the program because she conducted a qualitative survey of faculty and administrators in pharmacy programs as one of her sabbatical projects in the spring 2019 semester.

While she teaches in the Department of Media and Communication, Vicker has offered an elective communications course in the Wegmans School of Pharmacy for the past eight years and has been involved in the School’s assessment and co-curricular activities. She also presented her findings to the School of Pharmacy faculty in early December.
