03/22/2021 - Soon-to-be Dr. Albania Mitchell, a P4 student in the Wegmans School of Pharmacy, is the next member of the Class of 2021 to be featured in the “Countdown to Commencement” series. Mitchell was nominated by two faculty members in the School of Pharmacy; Dr. Amy Parkhill and Dr. Mindy Lull.
03/21/2021 - From freshmen enjoying their first year on campus to the Class of 1955 pioneers who blazed the trail, I Heart Fisher Day gives all members of the Fisher family the chance to show the world how much we love Fisher.
03/19/2021 - This spring, the Ed.D. in Executive Leadership Program has been hosting a leadership and research panel discussion series to serve as a catalyst for relevant leadership dialogue that impacts the community in areas of higher education, P-12 education, and health care. The series, facilitated by a program faculty member, features recent graduates who present their dissertation research to current candidates of the program.
03/18/2021 - Last week, The PRIMA Group and the Tom Proietti Chapter of Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) hosted its fifth annual Lead #LikeAGirl series in honor of Women’s History Month. The three-day interactive student-run series empowers St. John Fisher College students in the media and communication fields and provides them with skills to exercise active leadership.
03/17/2021 - This semester, a class of MBA students had the opportunity to meet virtually with an FBI accountant to learn first-hand what it takes to work as a forensic accountant for the government bureau. Thanks to Zoom, the group met with FBI Forensic Accountant Katharine Fehr, who outlined her job duties and discussed the qualifications and training necessary in her role.
03/17/2021 - If you are a rising junior or senior looking to complete an internship in the 2021-2022 academic year, consider Fisher’s Executive Internship Program. This year-long, paid, on-campus internship offers students interested in gaining a broader understanding of executive leadership and higher education the opportunity to experience it first-hand. Applications for the next cohort of interns are now open.

03/11/2021 - Joanne Weinschreider, director of the Wegmans School of Nursing Simulation and Lab Center, has been honored as a Patriotic Employer by the Office of the Secretary of Defense.
