This Thursday, Show Your Fisher Love

From freshmen enjoying their first year on campus to the Class of 1955 pioneers who blazed the trail, I Heart Fisher Day gives all members of the Fisher family the chance to show the world how much we love Fisher.

Planned for Thursday, March 25, I Heart Fisher Day is taking over campus, social media, and Zoom. Grab a custom background to show off in classes and meetings; share an “I Heart Fisher” graphic on Facebook, Instagram, or your favorite social media platform (check Fisher's accounts for fun graphics!); and on campus, see how we're collectively celebrating our love for Fisher.

The Office of Institutional Advancement will be handing out 800 t-shirts beginning at 11 a.m. at three locations: the Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Athletic Center, the Campus Center, and Cyber Café. (One t-shirt per person while supplies last.)

Miss the t-shirt give-a-way? No worries! The campus community will receive a 20 percent discount on apparel at the Bookstore all day.

It wouldn’t be I Heart Fisher Day without a celebration of food! Fisher Dining Services has a host of Fisher favorites on tap for students. Ward-Haffey Dining will have ice cream sundaes from 11 to 1 p.m., grab samples and freebies in Cyber Café, Murphy Hall, and Fish Bowl.

For employees on campus that day, stop by Cyber Café, Pioch Hall, or Sono Grill and enjoy a free treat; just show your faculty or staff Fisher ID when you order. Employees are also encouraged to wear Fisher swag, decorate their office (both on campus or remote), and submit a photo to HR at humanresources@sjfc.edu. Winners will be chosen in three categories: Most Creative, Best School Spirit, and Best Use of Remote Office – the more Fisher, the better! Prizes will include a PlayStation 5, iPad, and a gift certificate to the DelMonte Spa.

All on campus can also grab a sweet treat from the Office of Safety and Security, and so much more!
