01/17/2022 - Dr. Emily Dane-Staples and Dr. Deborah Vanderbilt were recently named inaugural Faculty Fellows, serving as campus experts in supporting colleagues as they build skills and knowledge in active learning and operationalizing the All College Learning Outcomes in their courses.
01/17/2022 - Dr. Anna Ratka, professor and associate dean of academic affairs at the Wegmans School of Pharmacy at St. John Fisher College, has been selected as a 2022 Fellow of the American Pharmacists Association (APhA).
01/14/2022 - On Wednesday, Jan. 12, nearly 50 members of the campus community, came together to provide a booster clinic to students, faculty, and staff. Faculty from the Wegmans School of Pharmacy and Wegmans School of Nursing, along with pharmacy students, administered the shots and in just three hours, an additional 224 faculty, staff, and students were boosted.

01/12/2022 - The St. John Fisher College Department of Athletics is honored to announce that nine new members will enter the Hall of Fame Class of 2022. The new members will be officially introduced during a special ceremony held in fall 2022; details about the event will be announced in the coming months.
01/11/2022 - Dr. Carol Wittmeyer, interim dean of the School of Business, presented three sessions at the United States Association for Small Business and Entrepreneurship® (USASBE) 2022: Pioneer and Persevere! Conference held in Raleigh, NC, Jan. 6-9.
01/10/2022 - On Friday, Jan. 7, St. John Fisher College faculty and staff celebrated their achievements in successfully submitting grant proposals, receiving grant awards, and implementing grant projects over the last year.
01/05/2022 - President Gerard J. Rooney and Provost Kevin Railey were featured in the Rochester Business Journal’s inaugural Power 30 in Higher Education list.
01/04/2022 - In late December, Governor Kathy Hochul signed a package of laws to improve access to care for New Yorkers with developmental disabilities. In collaboration with the New York State Association of Behavior Analysis (NYSABA), St. John Fisher College and its Office of Sponsored Programs and Government Affairs and the Golisano Institute for Developmental Disability Nursing served as advocates for one piece of groundbreaking legislation to expand the scope of practice of Licensed Behavior Analysts.
12/22/2021 - Students in the English Senior Seminar course spent their fall producing an original piece of literary criticism on a primary text of their choice for their senior thesis. In late November, that hard work paid off when the nine seniors presented their research in a symposium-style event organized by their professor, Dr. Jonathan Shelley.
