Fisher Executive Internship Applications Open March 14
If you are a rising junior or senior looking to complete an internship in the 2022-2023 academic year, consider Fisher’s Executive Internship Program.
This year-long, paid, on-campus internship offers students interested in gaining a broader understanding of executive leadership and higher education the opportunity to experience it first-hand. Applications for the next cohort of interns will open on Monday, March 14 via Handshake.
As a part of the internship, students work with College leadership, collaborate with fellow interns, participate in networking opportunities, and more.
“I would have never thought of a career in higher education before being part of this program. I have learned valuable lessons and gained experiential knowledge that will last a lifetime. Networking has also helped as I now know people who I can contact for future internships and jobs after college,” shared Sal Saunders ’23, executive intern in the Office of Marketing and Communications.
Students can learn more about the program during their Ice Cream Social that will take place in Tepas Commons at noon on Wednesday, March 2. There will also be upcoming information sessions at 6 p.m. on Monday, March 14, and at 8 p.m. on Thursday, March 17, in Basil 117. Eligible and interested students should attend and apply through Handshake when the application opens.
