School of Business Honors Graduates during Commencement Ceremony
Graduating senior Sarah Storsberg stood at the podium during the School of Business Commencement ceremony and asked her fellow graduates one question: “How does a group of students become everything they dreamed of in four short years?”
Her answer?
They became Cardinals.
“We were all given the opportunity to lead, create, inspire, and thrive—we were given our wings…and the ability to fly,” she said. “The St. John Fisher College School of Business is not only filled with the most powerful future leaders of the business world, but individuals who have learned to embrace every element of their nest, every storm cloud put in their path, and an appreciation for every feather placed within their wings throughout the years that had allowed them to fly.”
Along with Storsberg’s speech, Provost Kevin Railey and Dr. Todd Harrison, assistant dean of the School, also delivered remarks to the graduates.
At the ceremony, which was held on Saturday, May 7, the School conferred bachelor’s degrees in human resources management, marketing, finance, accounting, and management to more than 100 students. Forty-six students earned a master of business administration.
