Wegmans School of Pharmacy Inducts 21 into Honor Societies
The Wegmans School of Pharmacy hosted an Honors Night on Wednesday, April 20, recognizing 20 students for their leadership skills and academic success.
Six students—Alexa Strzelecki, Bailey Soper, Eddie Miljkovic, Jamie Lucresio, Lauren St. John, and Zuzanna Pociecha—were inducted into Phi Lambda Sigma Leadership Society.
Fourteen students, who represent the top 20 percent of their class, were inducted into Rho Chi Academic Honor Society in Pharmacy. Inductees included Meredith Allen, Bridget Austin, Duha Badri, Alyssa Beyer, Alicia Bill, John Eadie, Olivia Koepke, Jack LeStrange, Mohammad Zakwan Mahmud, Dajanee Neal, Kristen Sevilla, Lindsey Rathbun, Vincent Romero-Salerno, and Alicia Zimmer. Faculty member Dr. Janet Lighthouse, assistant professor of pharmaceutical sciences, was also inducted into Rho Chi.
Joy Snyder ’18 (Pharm.D.), chief pharmacist for the Monroe County Health Department, and member of Phi Lambda Sigma, served as the ceremony’s keynote speaker.
