TriBeta Students Present at Northeast Conference

On Saturday, April 9, seven members of the Upsilon Rho chapter of Beta Beta Beta Biological Honor Society, delivered presentations at the 2022 TriBeta Northeast-3 District Convention.

Bridget Lenahan, Ethan Lane, and Luke Terry delivered oral presentations. Jacqueline Chouinard, Godly Alex, Katelin Keenehan, and Mariangelis Gonzalez presented their research during the poster sessions. 

The research projects were completed under the supervision of faculty advisors in the Biology Department (Dr. Maryann Herman, Dr. Jonelle Mattiacio, Dr. Fernando Ontiveros, Dr. Noveera Ahmed, Dr. Jonathan Millen, and Dr. Daryl Hurd) and Chemistry Department (Dr. Kevin Callahan). 

Lane (pictured above) was awarded second place for The Franks G. Brooks Award for his oral presentation entitled, “Quantifying p53 Regulated Genes in a Zebrafish Melanoma Model.”
