Wegmans School of Pharmacy Gives Back during Annual Day of Service

A hallmark of the Pharm.D. program, the annual Wegmans School of Pharmacy Service Day brings students, faculty, and staff together to volunteer in their communities.

While students in the online pathway served in their own communities or through an online component, students, faculty, and staff in the on-campus pathway visited sites around Rochester to give back.

Consistent with the mission and vision of the School, Day of Service projects helped organizations that support diverse populations. Volunteers dispersed at 10 sites in the Rochester area including: Rochester Refugee Resettlement, EquiCenter, Habitat for Humanity, Mary’s Place Refugee Outreach, The Vineyard Farm, CP Rochester, Refugees Helping Refugees, Webster Hope, the Hindu Temple of Rochester, and  the Sisters of St. Joseph.
