Five “Can’t Miss” Events at Fisher Snow Day 2023
Grab your scarf, hat, and mittens for this year’s Fisher Snow Day, to be held on Saturday, Feb. 25. Hosted by the Student Activities Board (SAB), festivities will include activities, snacks, giveaways, and more.
With more than a dozen events scheduled between noon and 4 p.m., you’re guaranteed to have “snow” much fun! Here are five "can't miss" activities happening on Fisher Snow Day!
No. 1: Dainty Donuts Food Truck
Noon to 2 p.m, LeChase Commons
Are you dying for donuts? Voted the Best Food Truck of the Finger Lakes three years in a row, stop by LeChase Commons and devour the delicious, freshly-made donuts you didn’t know needed in your life!
No. 2: Visit with Siberian Huskies
Noon to 3 p.m., LeChase Commons
Similarly featured at LeChase Commons is a Visit with Siberian Huskies. Come for comfort, come for fun, come just to pet some furry friends!
No. 3: Warm Up by the Fire Pit
Noon to 4 p.m., Campus Center Quad
Oh, the weather outside is frightful, but the fire is so delightful! Stop by Tepas Terrace at the Campus Center Quad to enjoy the warmth of the fire and the Fisher community. Then, build the ultimate snowperson in the Snowperson Building Contest (from noon to 3 p.m., also located at the Campus Center Quad).
No. 4: Mechanical Snowboard
Noon to 4 p.m., M-Lot
Looking to test your winter sport skills? Make a trip to M-Lot behind Keough Hall to try out the mechanical snowboard. Can you balance the board like a pro?
No. 5: Horse-drawn Carriage Rides
1:30 to 3:30 p.m., M-Lot
No winter wonderland would be complete without horse-drawn carriage rides. Enjoy a ride with someone special, your best friends, or simply meet some equine acquaintances!
