March First Friday Lecture Explores the AI Revolution

Learn about the dynamic integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in higher education during the March First Friday Lecture, led by Katie Sabourin, assistant vice president for digital learning at St. John Fisher University.

The talk begins at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, March 1, in the James ’71 and Kathleen Leo Community Room in the Joseph S. Skalny Welcome Center. A continental breakfast will be served at 10 a.m., and following the lecture, attendees are invited to attend 12:30 p.m. Mass at the Hermance Family Chapel of St. Basil the Great. Parking available in Lot A.

During the presentation, Sabourin will explore AI’s potential to revolutionize teaching methodologies, personalize learning experiences, and streamline administrative processes. She will also discuss the ethical and privacy concerns that AI use brings to the forefront of technology adoption and how Fisher is tackling this topic on campus.
