Class of 2024: Get Ready to Celebrate Senior Week
To mark their graduation and transition from students to alumni, the St. John Fisher University Class of 2024 will celebrate Senior Week beginning Saturday, May 4 through Thursday, May 9, just ahead of Commencement Weekend.
With 20 events, seniors will have the option to select tickets to attend individual events or purchase a full access ticket for all events, and receive a custom 2024 Senior Week t-shirt.
The week’s signature events begin with the Senior Brunch, held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 4, in Cleary Family Auditorium. Later in the day, students can attend a Paint and Sip with Mrs. Rooney and grab a snack at the Chick-fil-A Pop-up.
On Sunday, seniors can cheer on the Red Wings before attending the food truck party featuring live music on the Terrace at Tepas Commons.
On Monday, May 6, the Last Lecture will be held at 10:30 a.m. in the Hermance Family Chapel of St. Basil the Great. Throughout the day, there will be kickball and a barbeque; a beer, wine, and cider tasting; and senior slumber party and outdoor movie.
On Tuesday, May 7, the Class of 2024 will get glammed up for the Senior Gala held from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Harro East Ballroom.
The fun continues on Wednesday, May 8, at the Senior Carnival, cap decorating, Lavender Celebration, and Glow Party.
On Thursday, May 9, seniors can take a trip to HotShots for volleyball or Pittsford Dairy for ice cream and a walk along the Erie Canal. An All Students Rehearsal will take place at 12:30 p.m. in the Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Athletic Center Fieldhouse for those who would like to practice walking across the stage. The Office of Institutional Advancement will host the Fisher for Life picnic from 3 to 5 p.m. on the Terrace at Tepas Commons. The week concludes with the ALANA Dinner at 6:30 p.m. in Cleary Family Auditorium.
