The St. John Fisher University community is invited to participate in a Diversity and Leadership Table Talk from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 16, in Cleary Family Auditorium in Kearney Hall.

The event is being coordinated by students from Dr. Jebaroja Singh’s Groups and Diversity course in the Department of Sociology in collaboration with Dr. Marlowe Washington, Fisher’s senior diversity officer. The goal of the table talk is to acknowledge and honor the accomplishments and contributions of diverse leaders in the Rochester community.

Notable guest speakers include:

  • Obadiah Omar, program manager at Catholic Charities Family and Community Services Refugee Services Department
  • Julio Jordan, director of diversity, equity, justice, and inclusion at the Ibero American Action League
