Dino Kay Named Honorary Chair of 43rd Teddi Dance for Love

January 20, 2025

Rochester radio veteran Dino Kay will cheer on St. John Fisher University students as they dance for 24 hours during the 43rd Teddi Dance for Love.

Dino Kay will serve as the 2025 Teddi Dance Honorary Chair

Kay will serve as honorary chair of the annual dance-a-thon to benefit Camp Good Days and Special Times. The dance will be held from 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 7 through 8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 8.

“As a DJ early in my radio career in the 80s, I was proud to spin records for the dancers. Now, as the honorary chair, I guess you could say my support for Camp has come full circle. It’s truly an honor to be asked,” said Kay.

The committee and Camp Good Days selected Kay in recognition of his ongoing support of Camp. As honorary chair, Kay will help the Teddi Committee celebrate the week leading up to the dance, serving as a co-host of the Very Beary Brunch taking place on the Fisher campus on Friday, Jan. 31. He will also help kick-off the main event on Friday, Feb. 7, and encourage students as they dance for love.

“We are honored to have Dino Kay as our honorary chair; his energy and enthusiasm is sure to rally our dancers and contribute to Teddi’s success,” said Grayce Trimboli ’25, chair of the Teddi Committee.
