February First Friday Lecture Focuses on First-Year Enrollment Success
In fall 2024, St. John Fisher University welcomed its largest incoming class in history, a success story that is due to the work of many across the campus community. In the first First Friday Lecture of 2025, hear from two of those involved in the day-to-day recruitment efforts, Stacy Ledermann, assistant vice president of admissions, and Kate Torok, director of marketing and communications.
“Winning Partnership: How St. John Fisher Achieved Record First-Year Enrollment,” will share (just some of) the secrets to Fisher’s first-year enrollment success and discuss the strong partnership between the Office of Admissions and the Office of Marketing and Communications. Attendees will also learn more about collateral creation, event promotion, storytelling efforts, and the development of the “Impactful You” marketing campaign.
The talk begins at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 7, in the James ’71 and Kathleen Leo Community Room in the Joseph S. Skalny Welcome Center. A continental breakfast will be served at 10 a.m., and following the lecture, attendees are invited to attend 12:30 p.m. Mass at the Hermance Family Chapel of St. Basil the Great.
