Fisher Athletics Unveils Expanded Logo System
New Logo System Provides Fresh, Modernized Look for Fisher Athletics
The St. John Fisher University Athletics Program has grown and evolved throughout the last few decades, adding sports to its NCAA Division III Intercollegiate team offerings and hundreds of student-athletes. As it prepares for the additions of men’s and women’s hockey programs in the fall 2025 semester, Fisher Athletics has unveiled an expanded logo system that provides a fresh and modernized look for the University’s 26 NCAA Division III teams.
Fisher Athletics worked with the University’s agency of record, Dixon Schwabl + CO., to develop the new logo system. The original and trademarked Fisher Athletics seal logo and the popular and renowned Cardinal head mark will remain the primary logos, and the expanded logo system offers secondary and alternative marks for use on team uniforms, team apparel and merchandise, and team social media. Each Fisher varsity team has also been equipped with a new team logo, all of which have a consistent look and feel that reflects the Fisher Athletics brand.
“We are thrilled to unveil these new logos as part of our commitment to broadening the array of marks available for our teams and coaching staff. This process has been a collaborative effort, involving input from our dedicated coaching staff as well as Fisher’s marketing team and other athletics staff, and has resulted in a cohesive and dynamic expanded logo system. With the addition of hockey to our sports lineup, we saw a perfect opportunity to reset and enhance our branding,” said Jen Granger, interim athletics director.
Vice President for Enrollment Management Jose Perales, who oversees the athletics program, noted the strength of the new marks at this point in time for the University.
“The introduction of the enhanced athletics logo system marks an exciting milestone for Fisher Athletics and for the University as a whole. As we prepare to welcome hockey to our sports offerings, this new system - which builds upon the strong brand recognition and reputation that Fisher Athletics has earned - will play a crucial role in strengthening the promotion of our elite intercollegiate athletics programs,” said Perales.
