Innovation on Display during Entrepreneurship Week

The School of Business at St. John Fisher University will host a weeklong series of events aimed at sparking an entrepreneurial mindset during Entrepreneurship Week.

Running from Monday, March 24 through Friday, March 28, Entrepreneurship Week includes pitch and business competitions, guest speakers, and more – all designed to ignite the spirit of innovation across campus.

Entrepreneurship Week 2025 Events

Pitch Like A Pro Night
5:30 to 7 p.m., Monday, March 24, Golisano Gateway Midlevel
Learn how to speak confidently in public by mastering body language, tone, pacing, and delivery.

Fish Tank Competition
5:30 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, March 25, Leo Community Room in the Joseph S. Skalny Welcome Center
Fisher students: Don’t miss your chance to bring your business dream to life. Pitch your entrepreneurship idea for a chance to win $5,000 in seed funding. The Fish Tank competition is open to all Fisher students, regardless of major or stage of idea development. Whether it's just a spark of inspiration or a business ready to launch, Fish Tank is an opportunity not only to win funds for your venture, but also to receive feedback and network with a panel of experts.

Entrepreneurial Panel & Networking
5:30 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, March 26, Elaine Wilson Formal Lounge
Four successful entrepreneurs will share their journeys, insights, and advice on starting and growing a business.

Start-Up Spark
5:30 to 7 p.m., Thursday, March 27, Nursing 106
Whether you have a business plan already, or a just beginning to think about an idea, this event will help spark creativity and guide you in brainstorming your next big venture.

NY Business Plan Competition
5:30 to 9:30 p.m., Friday, March 28, Cleary Family Auditorium in Kearney Hall
Elevate your competitive spirit and pitch your business against students from across New York, all vying for a chance to win a grand prize of $25,000.
