Spring Alumni Receptions Bring Graduates Together
Throughout the spring, alumni have gathered at a series of regional receptions in Pennsylvania, Arizona, and Florida.
Members of the campus community, including President and Mrs. Rooney, as well as current Fisher students, gathered with more than 150 alumni across six cities including Philadelphia, Scottsdale, Sarasota, Tampa, Naples, and Jupiter Hills. President Rooney shared updates from the University and future plans, as well as photos from recent and current campus enhancements including the Lavery Library Modernization and Renovation Project.
Fisher students were in Philadelphia during their spring break for myriad community service initiatives at several different sites and were able to join the dinner at Lucy's Smokehouse on March 6. Ian Quattrini ’09 attended the Philadelphia event. “It was honestly the best experience I’ve had in a while,” he said. “The students were so engaging, asking questions about Fisher, our majors, what drew us to Fisher, career questions, and more.
An upcoming reception will be held at the New York Athletic Club on Wednesday, April 9, and will include students traveling to New York City for the annual Fisher Flight Plan initiative.
Alumni who wish to receive invitations to a reception in their area can update their email online.
