08/05/2019 - A recipient of the Transfer Achievement Award, Skylar Swatt ’20 has had the opportunity to share her experiences with students considering a transfer to St. John Fisher College. Her advice: stay out of your comfort zone.
08/02/2019 - This year, St. John Fisher College’s Orientation theme is “Welcome Home” and Fisher students are excited to meet the members of the Class of 2023.
08/01/2019 - For two months this summer, a Fisher faculty and student trio were deep in lab work and research in the Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering Department at the University of Notre Dame, thanks to funding provided by the College’s Center for Student Research and Creative Work as well as the University Radiation Medicine Foundation.
08/01/2019 - Orientation 2019 begins with Move-In Day on Saturday, Aug. 31, and concludes with the Matriculation Ceremony on Tuesday, Sept. 3, marking the start of your transition to St. John Fisher College.
07/31/2019 - St. John Fisher College was named to Kiplinger’s “500 Best College Values for 2019” ranking, which recognizes colleges and universities for academic quality and affordability. Fisher was listed at No. 291 on the full ranking, and No. 98 among private universities.

07/24/2019 - One St. John Fisher College degree wasn’t enough for Jessica Bolak. A 2017 graduate of the accounting program through the School of Business, Bolak returned to the College to complete her MBA with a concentration in accounting.
07/23/2019 - Found throughout the Eastern Hemisphere, Cyperus esculentus looks a lot like wild grass. Cultivated as a crop, this plant produces tiger nuts—small, wrinkly tubers resembling a cross between a peanut and a hazelnut.
