Rosenberry Publishes in Kettering Foundation
Dr. Jack Rosenberry, a professor in the Department of Media and Communication, recently published research in collaboration with The Kettering Foundation, which is known nationally and internationally for its work in promoting citizen engagement with democratic practices.
Rosenberry’s work, “Journalism Instruction and Citizen-Centered Democracy,” explores ideas for innovations in journalism curriculum, so that students studying the craft are better equipped to conduct journalism in ways that support citizen-centered journalism.
His article was based on qualitative research interviewing dozens of journalism instructors from large and small colleges around the country.
The research is part of the Kettering Foundation’s ongoing learning exchange among journalism educators.
