06/19/2020 - St. John Fisher College’s Office of Marketing and Communications took home two PRism Awards and two Awards of Excellence during the 2020 PRism Awards, hosted by the Rochester Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA).
06/18/2020 - Munawar Karim, professor of physics at St. John Fisher College, recently published two papers in academic journals.
06/17/2020 - For Nathan Fuller ’20, an internship in 2018 with Rochester-based marketing firm Launch Team, Inc., has led to a full-time position upon his graduation this May.
06/16/2020 - Wegmans School of Pharmacy students working with Dr. Gabriella Cipriano at the Anthony Jordan Health Center this spring were ready to learn about her specialty in diabetes medication management. Emily Gadarowski, a fourth year student who fulfilled her Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiences (APPE) rotation with Cipriano, said it was an opportunity to apply the knowledge learned in class to individual patients, taking into consideration their socioeconomic status and health literacy.
06/15/2020 - Graduates from the Class of 2009 and 2014 were invited to participate in the National Alumni Career Mobility Survey (NACM) through fall 2019. The effort was in partnership with the Career Leadership Collective, a higher education solutions group seeking insights and career satisfaction from colleges and universities across the country.
06/15/2020 - This summer, Dr. Elizabeth (Lisa) Phillips concludes her participation in the Academic Leadership Fellows Program (ALFP) through the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP).

06/12/2020 - The St. John Fisher College Family Business Initiative and the Bonadio Group have partnered to create a free webinar designed to help family owned businesses better understand the CARES Act opportunities.
06/12/2020 - Fourth-year pharmacy student Gillian Eppinger was completing her Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiences (APPE) rotation at Hilton Family Pharmacy when a customer experienced a medical emergency. Drawing on the knowledge she has gained during her studies, she was able to jump in and help. She shares her experiences here.
06/12/2020 - St. John Fisher College Professor Jeremy Sarachan's film, “Active Voices,” will be available as part of the streaming version of the SR Socially Relevant Film Festival New York, which runs from June 18 through June 28.
