#Fisher2020: Fisher Grad Launches Marketing Career
For Nathan Fuller ’20, an internship in 2018 with Rochester-based marketing firm Launch Team, Inc., has led to a full-time position upon his graduation this May.
A marketing and psychology major, Fuller begins his career as a project manager with the firm, which helps scientific and advanced manufacturers grow their businesses through inbound marketing and sales. Launch Team is owned by Fisher alumna Michele Nichols, who earned her MBA from the College in 2003; and alumnae Aimee Schenck ’13 and Alex Ormond ’17 also serve on the firm’s core team.
As a student in the School of Business, Fuller took advantage of not only internship experiences, but also participation in clubs and organizations, and a study abroad experience in Florence, Italy.
“Studying abroad gave me the opportunity to explore a new culture and my own interests in a completely new environment,” he said. “This helped me grow immensely.”
On campus, Fuller was vice president of Fisher’s chapter of the American Marketing Association, and president of the Investment Club, which he said gave him the opportunity to network with professionals while flexing and growing his leadership skills.
With a new position at Launch Team, and endless opportunities to grow, for Fuller, the future is bright.
“Fisher has prepared me for my future by connecting me to an excellent network of professionals and giving me a well-rounded education,” he said. “I hope to be continuing to do what I love and using what I learned during my Fisher experience.”
