#Fisher2020 Graduate Takes Lessons Learned from Syracuse to Charlotte
Rebecca Brant ’20 will soon be leaving her hometown of Syracuse to begin her life after Fisher in Charlotte, North Carolina as a sales administrator for SeedSpark, a technology and digital solutions company.
With a degree in marketing, and a minor in strategic communications, Brant left Fisher with “life-long connections” and said she was presented with myriad opportunities that made her experience “unforgettable.”
“My Fisher education equipped me with lessons that translate in and outside of the classroom, and for that I am forever grateful,” she recalled.
She attributes most of those lessons and her successes to her involvement in the College’s chapter of the American Marketing Association, both as a member and as co-president, a role she filled during her senior year.
“I am hopeful that future students at Fisher will take advantage of academic clubs and organizations that help them reach their goals,” she said.
Brant also credits the faculty and staff in the School of Business for helping her with her achievements along the way, noting that they were always readily available to help. In particular, she is grateful to Professors Ron Sicker and Adam Crandall for their “continued support and mentorship.”
“From freshman to senior year, I can confidently say I have grown personally and professionally because of my experiences at the Salerno Center,” she said.
