Nursing Alumnae Take on Leadership Roles

Several alumnae of the Wegmans School of Nursing have recently been selected for leadership roles in the community.

Dr. Selma Mujezinovic ’16 has been named president-elect of the Rochester Academy of Medicine. She is the first nurse practitioner to hold this role in the 121-year history of the organization.

Dr. Wendy Hou ’20 has been named the assistant director for nursing outcomes and community partnership at Golisano Children’s Hospital.

Gwen Olton ’12 was recently named interim executive director of the M.K. Gandhi Institute for Nonviolence in Rochester.
