08/14/2023 - This summer, 25 St. John Fisher University undergraduates majoring in 11 different disciplines had the opportunity to conduct original research alongside a faculty mentor through the Summer Fellows Research Program.

08/10/2023 - St. John Fisher University has partnered with Syracuse University’s Newhouse School of Public Communication to offer a 4+1 program, allowing qualified students to earn a bachelor’s and master’s degree in five years.

07/11/2023 - Though summer is traditionally considered a quieter time on most college campuses, at Fisher, it is a time to move forward with campus enhancements – both on the exterior and interior of various campus spaces. From academics to athletics, roofing to flooring, and everything in between, students will return in less than two months to some completed and ongoing projects.

07/10/2023 - Diane Martz, controller at St. John Fisher University, has been accepted into the prestigious 2023-2024 Senior Leadership Academy (SLA), co-sponsored by the Council of Independent Colleges (CIC) and the American Academic Leadership Institute (AALI). The 12-month academy program includes two seminars, leadership theory and practice, development of a professional experience plan, mentorship, individualized executive coaching, and more.

This is the eighth consecutive year that Fisher has earned the designation.

07/05/2023 - St. John Fisher University was once again recognized by Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society (PTK) as a “transfer-friendly” campus. Fisher was one of 208 colleges and universities to be included PTK’s 2023 Transfer Honor Roll in recognition of the ways the University has supported transfer students.

Wilson, Jr. School of Education at St. John Fisher University, was recently named an Impact Academy fellow through national non-profit organization Deans for Impact (DFI). Maples joins a cohort of leaders chosen for their commitment to improving educator preparation.
