Through Key Private Bank’s support, the Family Business Program will continue its mission of inspiring entrepreneurial families in the region through innovative educational programs, outreach into the community, and cutting-edge academic research regarding effective business practices for family-owned firms.

“Key Private Bank has a strong family business practice and has enjoyed well-deserved national recognition for their services. We are grateful for their support of our efforts and look forward to partnering with them over the next year as we serve family businesses in the Rochester area and beyond,” said Fisher Board of Trustee member Randall M. White ’75, owner and chief executive officer of JN White, who serves as chair of the Family Business Program Steering Committee and was instrumental in forming a partnership between the program and Key Private Bank.

Housed in the School of Business, the Family Business Program hosts several capstone initiatives, including the Next Generation Leadership Institute and the Family Governance Institute, providing individualized, in-depth learning for its participants. This fall, the program will also host a series of workshops and webinars. The first workshop, Family Business Compensation Forum, will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 2, and features compensation and executive search experts as well as family firm leaders who will address recent trends in compensation.

“We are proud to support St. John Fisher University’s Family Business Program and bolster the work it does to help entrepreneurial families in our region,” said Vince Lecce, Rochester market president for KeyBank and Key Private Bank market leader. “Key Private Bank and St. John Fisher University both believe in the power of the entrepreneurial spirit, and we are excited to help propel this program to new heights that will benefit innovation in Rochester.”
