Professor Vanderlinde is a visiting professor of practice and family business fellow and has been teaching at the College since 2012.
Vanderlinde mentors students in MBA capstone projects, where student teams provide consulting services to local businesses and organizations. He teaches executive leadership in the MBA program and also works extensively with the NextGen Family Business Initiative peer group.
Vanderlinde, a former family business owner of a commercial electrical business, has first-hand experience of family business succession planning and transition. He also has experience leading executive peer groups for nearly 20 years.
During his career, he has sat on numerous not-for-profit boards including:

- Rochester City Ballet

- Mt. Hope Family Center
He has also served as a coach and consultant for not-for-profit CEOs across the Rochester region.
