Ramil Sapinoro is an Associate Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences at St. John Fisher University, Wegmans School of Pharmacy. He received his Ph.D. in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Rochester in 2007. His research interests include HIV vaccine development, pulmonary inflammation, and the effects of over-the-counter supplements on inflammation and antibiotic therapy.
Dr. Sapinoro has published over 10 peer-reviewed articles in top-rated journals, including Virology, Journal of Gene Medicine, and Vaccine. He serves as the Chair of the Rochester Victory Alliance HIV Vaccine Community Advisory Board, and a member of the HIV Vaccine Trials Network Concept Working Group. He is also a recipient of the NACDS Innovation Award for an innovative pharmacy program to improve vaccine literacy in underprivileged populations.
Dr. Sapinoro is a passionate scientist-educator. He is committed to training and mentoring the next generation of pharmacists.
