11/15/2020 - As a freshman at St. John Fisher College, Emily Trotman ’21 had always dreamed of becoming a marketing major. She was inspired by her brother, who majored in marketing as a student at Fisher. She saw the success it brought him, and she loved that it could take her anywhere. From that point on, she had a clear path with what she wanted to do for the foreseeable future.

11/11/2020 - St. John Fisher College alumnus and trustee Michael O’Conor ’78 has made a generous $100,000 gift to the College to establish the Pam and Michael A. O’Conor ’78 New York City Internship Endowment. The fund will support career-immersion experiences in the greater New York City area for Fisher students, including stipends toward living accommodations, subway passes, and other expenses.
11/06/2020 - On Friday, Oct. 30, St. John Fisher College students participated in the 2020 Deloitte FanTAXtic Competition. To prepare, Lauren Robbins, Samantha Haines, Brian Norsen, Noah Campanelli, and LucyMarie Gaulin spent the past month researching a case study. With the help of a faculty advisor and a Deloitte tax professional, the students developed solutions to their case, and in the process, gained a better understanding of the real-world problems accounting professionals handle every day.
