This semester, students in the capstone had to adapt to the virtual world as meetings in the Salerno Center for American Enterprise quickly turned into meetings over Zoom.

04/06/2020 - For just over a decade, St. John Fisher College’s Investment Club has managed a portfolio of investments. In the last four years alone, the Club had one of the longest market peaks in recent history, only to turn downward at a rapid rate, due to the uncertainty brought on by COVID-19.

04/02/2020 - Each year, students in Professor Ron Sicker’s Promotions Management courses create a fully integrated promotional campaign for clients, developing creative materials and an implementation strategy. Promotions Management is part of the suite of community-engaged learning courses, which work with partners in the Rochester community to strengthen students’ academic learning and professional preparation while providing mutual benefit to a local organization.

Business Students Find Ways to Continue Internships Remotely Matthew Sciandra continues his internship with The Bonadio Group from home.

03/30/2020 - The switch to online classes as a result of COVID-19 didn’t just alter students’ plans in the classroom. As Fisher students returned home, and non-essential businesses closed, many internships also came to an end. Luckily, technology allowed several students to continue their internship work, just with a much different backdrop.
