11/26/2019 - This semester, students in St. John Fisher College’s MBA Leadership Development course are learning about the organizational transitions that global manufacturer Gorbel®, Inc. has undergone, and how the philosophies of its leadership helps it to maintain a strong level of operational and customer excellence.
11/18/2019 - Senior marketing students Rebecca Brant and Nicolette Pecor attended the International Collegiate Sales Competition (ICSC) in Orlando, Florida, hosted by Florida State University. Ron Sicker, visiting assistant professor of practice, accompanied the students as he has done for the last three years.

11/04/2019 - Nearly 45 students from the School of Business attended an Etiquette Dining and Networking Event on Tuesday, Oct. 29. Constellation Brands, JK Executive Strategies, Paychex, and Tompkins Financial sponsored the event.
11/04/2019 - Family businesses from around Upstate New York gathered to hear key insights into the ownership and leadership of Gorbel Inc. during “The Gorbel Story: How a Family Business Defies Gravity.”
10/17/2019 - Last month, three School of Business students attended the 5th Annual Families in Business Conference at Cornell University. Joined by Drs. Carol Wittmeyer and Rama Yelkur, students Charles Holvey, Anthony Kousmanidis, and Andrew Callaghan represented St. John Fisher College at the event.
10/16/2019 - From October 7-11, St. John Fisher College’s chapter of the American Marketing Association hosted their annual Marketing Week. With the theme, “Be The Change,” the focus revolved around how students will engage in and positively impact the modern marketing industry.
10/14/2019 - Three days, 36 hours, 42 scenes, 85 student and faculty actors. It all took place last week as the St. John Fisher College campus turned into a production set for the College’s newest advertising campaign.
10/11/2019 - Eric Green, a senior accounting major and Honors student at St. John Fisher College, was named the 2019 recipient of the Martin Palumbos Rochester Area Business Ethics Foundation (RABEF) Scholarship. This scholarship is given annually to a St. John Fisher College business student who has demonstrated exceptional integrity and ethics as it pertains to business education.
