10/14/2019 - Three days, 36 hours, 42 scenes, 85 student and faculty actors. It all took place last week as the St. John Fisher College campus turned into a production set for the College’s newest advertising campaign.
10/11/2019 - Eric Green, a senior accounting major and Honors student at St. John Fisher College, was named the 2019 recipient of the Martin Palumbos Rochester Area Business Ethics Foundation (RABEF) Scholarship. This scholarship is given annually to a St. John Fisher College business student who has demonstrated exceptional integrity and ethics as it pertains to business education.
10/04/2019 - The Family Business Initiative at St. John Fisher College will offer family business owners and next generation family employees keen insights into the ownership and leadership of Gorbel, Inc. during the workshop, “The Gorbel Story: How A Family Business Defies Gravity.”
10/02/2019 - On Friday, Sept. 20, the St. John Fisher College Accounting Club hosted its annual networking event at Oak Hill Country Club. The experience allows accounting majors to meet and get to know accounting alumni, as well as recruiters from national and regional accounting firms and area corporations.
09/23/2019 - Fisher sophomore Andres Ramirez ’22 spent a week in the Morgan Stanley Summer Freshman Enhancement Program in New York City.
09/15/2019 - Students in the School of Business across all majors gained valuable experience this summer through engaging internships. Business students interned at dozens of companies holding a variety of positions with each organization, with 15 students earning academic credit, while others completed internships for the experience.
09/13/2019 - This fall, St. John Fisher College students will see 13 new faculty members in their classes.
09/09/2019 - St. John Fisher College earned a place on the U.S. News & World Report’s annual “America’s Best Colleges” feature, making the grade for its value, quality educational opportunities, and support of veterans, among other characteristics.
09/06/2019 - During a ceremony on Wednesday, Sept. 4, the St. John Fisher College School of Business marked the opening of the Walter and Barbara Parkes Trading Lab.
08/23/2019 - Before she took on a role at food and beverage manufacturing company that shares her last name, Stefani LiDestri was a dysphagia therapist helping patients through eating, drinking, and swallowing rehabilitation, worked for Big Pharma briefly, and opened three fashion boutiques in Atlanta, Georgia.
